How long does it take to get Telepass EU?

Upon signing the contract, it will take approximately 4-5 working days to receive your Telepass SAT. For additional requests, 2-3 days will be sufficient. However, we will do our best to equip your vehicle as soon as possible!

Can I pay the Fréjus /M. Blanc Tunnel with the EU Telepass?

No, the electronic toll is not provided. For the passage to the Fréjus Tunnel and the Mont Blanc Tunnel, there is a special card that VIALTIS can provide you with.

Can I add, remove or change the countries enabled on Telepass EU?

To make changes, unlike the Telepass SAT, the Telepass EU must be replaced.

My Telepass EU is out of power, what should I do?

Accepted Answer

We can request a replacement of Telepass EU, waiting to receive back the malfunctioning one, which must be returned within 60 days. The replacement will be sent to you directly by TELEPASS by courier within 2-3 days, upon notification by e-mail. Meanwhile, you can ask the operator at the toll gate for the manual scan of the barcode.

I replaced a truck, do I have to replace the EU Telepass as well?

Yes, unlike the Telepass SAT and the italian Telepass, it is not possible to change the license plate on the Telepass EU.

What can I pay with the Telepass EU?

With the Telepass EU you can pay: tolls in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, section A4 Katovice / Krakow in Poland and the Liefkenshoek Tunnel in Belgium; affiliated car parks in Italy, France and Spain; the  Strait of Messina ferries. By adding the Premium Truck service for heavy vehicles, you can also benefit from vehicle-breakdown services, assistance and advance vehicle repair costs.
